Mansion Tours
Tours of the house are scheduled periodically around the mansion’s other functions.  The Friends of the William E. Scripps Estate have designed mansion tours to be informative and memorable.  Interpretive tours are led by trained docents, take approximately 1 ½ hours to complete, and involve stairs.  Please note that indoor photography cannot be allowed.  All tours must be reserved in advance during the times provided. Garden Tours
Interpretive tours of the nationally significant designed landscape are also available on a scheduled basis.  Advance reservations are required. Call 248-391-4445, ext. 1137 to schedule your visit at the available times below.  The 1 hour tour includes stairs and uneven ground.  Visitors tour at their own risk and are urged to wear proper shoes.  Photos are permitted for non-commercial use only. 

Rates
Tour fees contribute needed funds to maintain the estate and help ensure that this magnificent architectural gem can be enjoyed by future generations. Payment available by check, Visa, or Master Card at time of reservation.

• Mansion tours are $25 per adult; $15 for seniors and children under 12.  Please note that we cannot permit strollers in the building; young children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times
• Garden tours are $15 per person; $10 for seniors and children under 12. Children must remain with parents/guardians at all times.
